This is one of Gutsy's favourite sayings as of late. Unfortunately, like many sayings of a three-year-old, it is not always used in context. Observe last night:
"Sweety, would you like a bath?" I ask as dark is approaching.
"Yes, mom," he replies.
"Would you like bubbles?"
"Yes, but there aren't any bubbles left!" says a worried Gutsy.
"I'm pretty sure we have some left."
"No, there aren't any. They're all gone!"
"Let's go have a look. I bet we'll find some."
Gutsy checks under the sink and proudly appears before me with a bottle of bath bubbles.
"See, mom? I told you there were bubbles!"
Oh, you're right. How foolish of me. I promise to listen to your wisdom from now on *sigh*
